Felician University is presently seeking an experienced professional to serve as part-time Science Tutor in the Center for Academic Success and Effectiveness. The Tutor facilitates student learning by helping to clarify specific course content and promoting/modeling the use of appropriate study strategies. He/she is responsible for the development and integration of effective study and learning strategies to maximize student potential for independent learning and academic progress.

Required Education:
BS in Science discipline required; Master’s degree preferred

Relevant work experience that demonstrates the ability to relate to and engage with students as a tutor; proven ability to work well with a diverse student population; creative thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills; a collaborative spirit; willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and values.
