Felician University is offering exciting opportunities for Adjunct Faculty in Information Literacy in the School of Arts and Sciences, University Library Department for the 2026-2027 academic year. Under the mentorship of full-time faculty, adjunct faculty provide classroom experiences grounded in “best practices” for higher education and their respective disciplines.

Position Type:
Part-time, 1-2 courses per semester, maximum 3 days per week. Day and evening classes, online and traditional formats available.

Required Education:
Master’s degree in Library and/or Information Science from an ALA or AASL accredited school or Master’s degree in Communications
Qualifications:
- 1+ years’ experience teaching information literacy at the baccalaureate level
- Familiarity with the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy
- Current working knowledge of library databases and internet resources
- Proficiency in navigating online learning management platforms, especially for D2L Brightspace
- Ability and willingness to work on both the Lodi and Rutherford campuses
- Willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan core values and mission of the University
