Director of Institutional Assessment and Accreditation

Felician University is presently seeking a focused, detail-oriented and analytically minded professional to serve as the Director of Institutional Assessment & Accreditation in the Center for Academic Success and Effectiveness.  The Director oversees the composition and coordination of assessment of student learning outcomes, assists in the evaluation of academic programs across departments and schools, integrates assessment activities and results with the MSCHE accreditation process, disseminates reported information to key University constituents and stakeholders and delivers training on assessment process, platforms and technologies across the University.

Required Education:

Master’s Degree in higher education, education, sociology, psychology, statistics, research, program evaluation public administration or other related field required; extensive equivalent experience may be considered

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years’ experience coordinating or overseeing outcomes assessment in a higher education setting; ability to learn and utilize assessment-related software for data collection, (Watermark, Qualtrics), data visualization and data analysis; proven experience supporting programmatic and/or regional accreditation processes; demonstrated familiarity with regional accreditation expectations (Middle states Commission on Higher Education preferred); proven experience in assessment support and training for faculty and staff; ability to work with data of varying levels of quality and validity; proven competence in managing multiple tasks and setting priorities; high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment; ability to foster and promote strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders; willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and values of the University.
