Felician University is presently seeking an energetic and goal and student-oriented career development professional to serve as Assistant Director for the Center for Career and Professional Development. The Assistant Director provides professional development services to students and alumnae of Felician University, including but not limited to career development workshops, outreach programs, seminars on academics majors selection and job search and application processes.

Required Education:
BA/BA in Psychology, Counseling. Social Work, Higher Education or related field required, Master’s degree preferred
Qualifications:
1-3 years’ of experience providing experiential experience support in a career service department or other comparable option; career counseling or related counseling experience, preferably at an institution of higher learning; demonstrated experience managing data, forms, applications and confidential material; knowledge of online databases, especially career related databases (i.e., Simplicity, College Central Network, Handshake, and Purple Briefcase) experience preferred; proven ability to multi-task (i.e., scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting anyone that enters the office) and successfully meet deadlines; comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Prezi and social media tools (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn); Desktop publishing experience preferred; ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population of students, employers, staff and faculty from multiple departments and schools; ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed; ability and willingness to support the Franciscan Felician mission and values of the University.
