Fields of Interest/Expertise:
A champion of French composer, Maurice Delage, Dr. Gordon’s research on the composer involved Paris interviews with writers, composers, and conductors who had worked with Delage. Dr. Gordon has also recorded a CD of selected songs from his oeuvre. A fluent speaker of French, Dr. Gordon’s present research is on little-known composers of the French mélodie.
