Having spent many, many years as a Special Education teacher, learning specialist, counselor, teacher trainer, and school and agency consultant, Denise entered the field of higher education to share her expertise in educating students with diverse and interesting abilities. New to Felician University, but having taught at other higher education institutions, working with traditional and non-traditional students is a particular pleasure for her. Denise’s goal is to instill in her students the author Henry Miller’s notion that “One’s destination never a place but rather a new way of looking at things.”
