Degree Completion in Professional Studies

The Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) is designed as a degree-completion program targeting individuals who have completed an associate of applied science degree, other associate degrees, certificates, and community college programs. The program combines critical thinking and problem-solving skills gained from Felician’s liberal arts education and the professional skills necessary to assume managerial responsibilities in all types of organizations. You have the option to choose a minor in either marketing or management – choose the minor that interests you or complements your career goals.

Prior Learning Assessment Credits

At Felician University, we understand the value of experience. If you are a current student who already has professional and learning experience, then we want to give you the credits you deserve. These credits will help you earn your degree faster and at a much lower cost.

Using a set of practices called Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), we can evaluate the knowledge, skills, and competencies you’ve gained outside the classroom in your professional life. Our dedicated faculty and staff will help you prepare for Prior Learning Assessment so you can gain the most credits possible for your professional experience. Although the award of credit is not guaranteed (as in any examination), students engaging in the Prior Learning Assessment process greatly benefit from learning and practicing the skills needed to communicate the knowledge they’ve gained outside of academic classrooms.

If you apply for the Bachelor of Professional Studies program by May 18, 2020, you can get PLA credits for free.
