The housing selection process for the upcoming 2024 Fall Semester is underway, and the Office of Housing and Residence Life is excited to assist returning students in securing their rooms for the fall semester. Along with the email communication you’ve received, we’re providing the following information to help answer any questions you may have during the housing application process. If you require additional guidance or support, please feel free to contact us at reslife@felician.edu.

Room Type Options and Selection

Students should indicate their first and second preferences for room type when completing the housing application form. These preferences will be taken into consideration during the placement process. If the first preference cannot be accommodated, the second choice will be considered. It is important to ensure that preferences align with your financial aid package.

  • Double (two-person occupancy) – $7,095
  • Triple Room (three-person occupancy) – $6,340
  • Single Room (one-person occupancy) – $9,080
  • Super Single (one-person occupancy) – (Not available for Fall 2024)

Note:Fees cover room and board, including a meal plan.

Roommate & Suitemate Selection Preferences

Roommate or suitemate requests cannot be guaranteed, but every effort is made to accommodate student preferences. Both parties are encouraged to mutually request each other on the housing application form. Housing and Residence Life will assign roommates to students based on their housing questionnaire responses in cases where students do not indicate a roommate preference.

Housing and Residence Life welcomes students who have requests for suitemates. While we strive to accommodate such requests, please note that availability may vary, and we cannot guarantee matching suitemates. To initiate this process, one student should be designated as the primary contact for submitting the request.

Student-athletes who wish to reside in the same suite should contact Nicole Aumack at AumackN@felician.edu to discuss their request. Non-athletes are encouraged to contact Romario DaCosta at DaCostaR@felician.edu or visit the Office of Housing and Residence Life to submit their request.

Housing Accommodations for Students with Disabilities/Medical Needs

The Offices of Housing and Residence Life, along with Accessibility Services, collaborate to accommodate students with disabilities or medical needs in the residence halls. Students with physical or psychiatric disabilities may request medical accommodations, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A thorough assessment of your request and the submitted medical documentation will be conducted to determine the reasonableness and appropriateness of your request under the law.

Students with disabilities or medical needs seeking housing accommodation should contact Carolyn Kehayanc, Coordinator of Accessibility Services, at kehayanc@felician.edu for the necessary form and guidance.

Post-Application Process

After submission, the Office of Housing and Residence Life will commence the placement process. Room assignment information will be distributed to students upon completion. Students who meet all requirements by May 8th will receive their 2024 fall room assignment details by May 15th. For students delayed in completing all requirements by this date, room assignments will be provided at the end of May and thereafter, based on the completion of all requirements.
