U.S. News classifies institutions based on their academic mission, taking into account various outcomes such as graduation rates, student mobility, faculty resources, academic reputation, financial resources, and student excellence.

Niche.com is a website that helps people find K-12 schools, colleges, and places to live by providing profiles, grades, and rankings based on public data and reviews. To determine these rankings, Niche pulls a combination of public data (from sources like the U.S. Department of Education) and user-submitted reviews from students, parents, and residents.
