Our University once again played an important role in the 3rd Annual International Day of Women and Girls in Science, hosted earlier this month at the United Nations General Assembly.

Stephanie McGowan, Dean of our School of Education, spoke at the conference about the importance of women and girls in science and specifically the critical role that educators play in ensuring that more women pursue careers in STEM fields.
