Discovering Felician Art in South Central New Jersey: Exploring the Vibrant Artistic Community at Felician University

The Art Department worked in collaboration with Taft Communications to present an exhibition of art by Felician students, alumni, and faculty.  On display at Taft’s offices in Lawrenceville, NJ, the show includes artwork by the following Felician artists: Nahlah Alfozan, Lisa Alicea, Ard Berge, Neshallay Falloon, Kelsey Jubinski, Aisha Lance, Alexandria Laurenzano, Michael J. Nyklewicz, Jeongeun “Clare” Oh, Gina Pallino, Maria Perez, Rasheeda Prince, Kate Rohsler, Ixia Royes, and Tyaija Shakir.

The exhibition opened with a reception in honor of the artists in early November. Felician University President Anne Prisco offered opening remarks to those in attendance who included many of the exhibiting artists, Felician faculty and administration, and invited guests.

Representing the experiences and identities of the artists, the show encompasses all mediums, from painting and drawing to photography and graphic design. The artwork remains on display through early 2018.
