Student Support For Dealing with Anxiety Related to COVID-19

Counseling Center Services

The Counseling Center will continue to operate and offer services during the delivery of online classes as a result of the current coranavirus outbreak.

Counseling Center Services During Hyflex Classes

Counselors are available remotely. We offer phone video-conferencing (HIPAA secure doxy.me, no zoom-bombing)”) support by appointment based on clinical appropriateness during the business hours of Monday – Friday. Contact duration and frequency will depend on demand, triaging urgency of presenting concerns and clinician availability.

“Let’s Tele-Talk”

Please join us for informal, confidential consultations. First come, first served. All students are welcome – from out of state or from around the world.

How It Works:

During the days/times indicated, follow the links associated with the day and time and meet with one of our clinicians. Please note that if someone is already being served, you will be placed in a virtual waiting room, and we will be with you shortly. The average talk time is 10-15 minutes.

Please Note: “Let’s Tele-Talk” in not a substitution for mental health counseling. If you require care beyond a consultation, a clinician will refer you to on or off campus services as appropriate.
