Ignite Your Leadership Journey with an MA in Educational Leadership
The Master of Arts in Educational Leadership at Felician University offers a comprehensive program designed specifically for certified teachers seeking to earn a master’s degree and advance their careers in education. Our program provides specialized training leading to the supervisor endorsement or the dual supervisor and principal endorsements.
With a focus on preparing future educational leaders, our Master of Arts in Educational Leadership integrates the philosophy and mission of Felician University and the School of Education. Students will engage in reflective practice, drawing upon their professional knowledge of curriculum and instruction to seek innovative solutions through caring leadership.
The program offers various options for specialization and endorsement. The Supervisor Endorsement consists of 12 credits, the Principal Endorsement consists of 30 credits, and the Master of Arts in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Supervision/Principal encompasses 36 credits. This degree program includes coursework that covers both the principal and supervisor endorsements, providing a comprehensive foundation for leadership roles in education.
Admission Requirements:
- At least five years of successful, full-time teaching or educational services experience is required
- A standard NJ instructional or educational services certificate
- Official Transcript
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (candidates with under a 3.0 will be considered based on the strength of the overall application)
Admission Process:
- Complete the online application.
- Submit all supporting documentation required.
- Pay the application fee.
Only complete applications will be considered for admission. The Coordinator of the Graduate Program and the Dean of the School of Education give final approval for admission to the School of Education graduate program. The Office of Admissions will notify applicants of the admission decision as soon as possible.
