eCourse (100% online) Information
An eCourse is a 100% online course. Undergraduate eCourses require an on-ground proctored final exam or video proctored exam please refer to your syllabus for specific course instructions.
Enrolling and Accessing an eCourse
1. Registration
Register for your course with your advisor during the advising/registration period.
2. Clear All Holds
Ensure all holds (e.g., tuition, health, or other administrative holds) are cleared prior to the start of the semester. Students with active holds will not be enrolled in their courses. For assistance, contact the Registrar’s Office or Treasurer’s Office.
3. Access to Brightspace (Single Sign-On)
Brightspace is part of Felician University’s Single Sign-On (SSO) system, meaning you will use your Felician email username and password to log in.
You do not need a separate account if you already have Felician credentials.
4. Log-In Instructions
To access your course, go to: https://felician.brightspace.com
Log in using your Felician SSO credentials.

6. Important Enrollment Policy
Students cannot enroll in a fully online course after the course start date. No exceptions will be made.
Hybrid Course Information
A Hybrid course is taught both on-ground and online. There is a technology fee for hybrid courses.
Enrolling and Accessing a Hybrid Course
- Register with your advisor during the advising/registration period.
- Clear all holds (tuition, health etc.) If you are on any holds you will not be uploaded to your course. (For this information, contact the Registrar’s Office or the Office of Student Accounts.)
- Use your Felician email username and password to log in to Brightspace through the University’s Single SignOn (SSO) system. No separate logon email or credentials will be sent. Access will be available on the first day of class.

- BrightspaceID/password problems email or contact the Felician University Helpdesk at 201-559-6165.
- Brightspace/ D2L course-Contact the Brightspace 24/7 Helpdesk 1-877-325-7778

eCompanion Information
An eCompanion is a learning aid to an on-ground course but the entire course is taught face to face.
Enrolling and Accessing eCompanion
- Register with your advisor during the advising/registration period.
- Clear all holds (tuition, health etc.) If you are on any holds you will not be uploaded to your course. (For this information, contact the Registrar’s Office or the Office of Student Accounts.)
- Use your Felician email username and password to log in to Brightspace through the University’s Single SignOn (SSO) system. No separate logon email or credentials will be sent. Access will be available on the first day of class.

Reminders
- If you are registered and have no financial or health holds the Datatel system will automatically enroll you into Brightspace/ D2L.
- If you are on any holds, (health, tuition etc.) you will not be uploaded to your course. (For this information, contact the Registrar’s Office or the Office of Student Accounts.)
- Check your Web Advisor account for the courses for which you are officially registered.
- Check your Felician email account for your logon instructions to Brightspace/ D2L.
- Cohort students contact your Program Coordinator directly for registration issues.
- Students cannot be added to a fully online course after the first day the course begins. No Exceptions.
- Students cannot be added to a hybrid or eCompanion after the drop/add period.
- A student inactive for one week, without contacting the instructor, is considered an unofficial withdrawal and not allowed to continue in the course. The School Dean will issue an administrative drop by request of the instructor. No exceptions.
- Save your online assignments to a Word file. Once the course is over you will not have access to your eCompanion, Hybrid or eCourse.
