Assistant Director, Graduate Admissions

Felician University is presently seeking an innovative, highly motivated, flexible and goal-oriented professional to serve as the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions at Felician University.  Reporting to the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions and ABSN Enrollment, the Assistant Director is responsible for collaborating in the design and management of a comprehensive graduate admissions program at Felician University. S/he serves as the initial and continued support contact in the recruitment and enrollment of prospective/returning students and is responsible for implementing strategies that will enable the University to meet specific enrollment targets.

Required Education:

BA/BS required, Master’s Degree preferred

Qualifications:

2-3 years’ experience related experience in higher education; advanced analytical, critical thinking, problem recognition/avoidance/resolution, problem-solving skills; knowledge of databases and information systems, Colleague and SLATE CRM systems experience preferred; excellent written and verbal communications skills; well-developed platform (public speaking) skills; superior organizational and problem-solving skills; valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, ability and willing ness to travel; ability to establish collaborative relationships with a broad constituency of internal and external stakeholders; ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences, including staff, faculty, prospective students and corporate professionals; high degree of personal motivation, self-management and detail-orientation; ability to autonomously multi-task and prioritize workflow; availability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed; commitment to supporting the Franciscan/ Catholic mission of the University.
