School of Nursing Takes Pledge on Opioid Education as Announced at the White House
As part of academic nursing’s ongoing efforts to combat prescription drug and opioid abuse across the Unites States, the School of Nursing is proud to announce that it has committed to educating its advanced practice registered nursing students (APRN) on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Plain.
The commitment was featured in a White House fact sheet today as part of the White House Champions of Change event on Advancing Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery. Felician University is one of the 191 American Association of College’s of Nursing’s member schools that have taken this pledge.
