School of Business & Information Sciences Faculty Collaborate for Presentation
RUTHERFORD, NJ – NOVEMBER 2023 – The International Hybrid Conference of the Business and Applied Sciences Academy of North America (BAASANA) was held on November 9-11 at Wagner College. Felician University was represented by Dr. Joy de los Reyes, Associate Professor of Marketing and Professor Karen Beerbower, Associate Professor of Accounting/Law.
Dr. de los Reyes presented the collaborative paper alongside Prof. Beerbower and Dr. Mary Kate Naatus, Assistant Provost and Dean of Continuing Education and Professional Studies of Seton Hall University. Prof. Beerbower, Dr. de los Reyes, and Dr. Naatus earned “Best Presentation Award” for their topic of “Creating Future Change Agents in Business: The Impact of On-Campus Women’s Leadership Development Programs.” The study emphasizes the importance of preparing women to become future business leaders. The authors discussed a comparative study of two on-campus programs, one being offered at Felician University through the Women’s Leadership Initiative, and the other offered at Seton Hall University through the Buccino Leadership Institute.
BAASANA is an interdisciplinary, not-for-profit professional association of business, sciences, and technology. It seeks to share knowledge and practical skills among educators and practitioners in the fields of business and applied sciences.
