Nursing Association Meets in the Castle to Set Strategic Goals

Members of the New Jersey Association of Deans and Directors of Baccalaureate and Higher Degree Programs in Nursing, Inc. were hosted recently by Dr. Muriel Shore, dean of the Felician University School of Nursing. The purpose of this day-long meeting, held in the Castle board room on the Rutherford campus, was to develop strategic goals for the association. In addition, Dr. Edna Cadmus, executive director of the New Jersey Collaborating Center, attended to discuss the educational preparation of the Advanced Practice Nurse interested in setting up her/his own independent practice.

A tour of the Education Commons Building and the Nursing Resource and Simulation Center was provided by Dr. Fran Mal, Felician associate dean. All were very impressed with the hospitality of Felician as well as our technologically sophisticated facilities.
