Thirty year old New Jersey resident and new author Jeff Naeem will speak to the students in Professor Mike Omansky’s upper level “Business Policy” class in the undergraduate business program. The subject of the lecture is Naeem’s newly-released book “Stupid Enough to Succeed,” the definitive guide to business startup for millennials. The lecture will take place on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 4:10 pm to 5:10 pm in Martin Hall, room 205 on the Rutherford campus.

Naeem’s book offers savvy tips to short-circuit many of the challenges startup and early stage businesses face. He covers every angle, from leveraging technology to managing people in his easy to follow manual. The book captures the mindset of today’s young entrepreneurs, citing the high value they place on flexibility and enjoyment over and above focusing on money alone.

About the Author

Destined for entrepreneurship at an early age, Jeff Naeem sold wrapping paper at the age of seven and later became one of the top 100 sales performers in the country for Cutco knives. He earned a concentration in philosophy at Hamilton College.

After college, fear of living in a box drove him to take a job in financial services.  Growing weary of the 9-5 grind, he decided to hang up the suit and tie, trading in junk bonds for junk removal. Jeff’s company Junk-A-HaulicsÒ became profitable in just three months and has grown 50-75% each year.

Jeff has addressed regional business organizations and was interviewed on Jim Beach’s “School for Startups” syndicated radio show, featured in New Jersey Business magazine, The “Daily Record”, has guest blogged for the worldwide Entrepreneurs’ Organization and presenter at the Next Level Conference, sponsored by the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
