Maura DeNicola Appointed VP of University Advancement

Maura DeNicola

As head of Advancement, DeNicola will continue to lead the department she has served as an Interim over the last year, which includes Development, Public Relations, Community Relations, Communications, Alumni Engagement and oversight of conferences & events.

A seasoned educator, DeNicola brings over twenty years of leadership in community building to the position. President Anne Prisco remarked that, “Maura brings a wealth of knowledge in relationship building and outreach as Felician is poised to move forward with many ground-breaking projects and programs.”

DeNicola said, “I am honored to be a part of the Felician community, working to support the incredible, life changing mission of the University. In many ways my job is to provide a beacon for the greater community to better know, support, and benefit from the University’s work.”

As a former Bergen County Freeholder and Mayor, she brings additional experience in regional and state affairs to her department. DeNicola has Masters Degrees in Education and Child Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and her Bachelors Degree from Boston College.
