March 11th, 2020

Dear Felician University Community,

Although there have been no reported cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on either the Lodi or Rutherford Campus, out of an abundance of caution, we are moving to online instruction. Felician University remains open and operational, and the semester continues.

Beginning on Monday, March 16th through Saturday, March 28th, classes will be held online. Our faculty have been working to prepare for this situation. Students will be contacted shortly regarding their individual courses of study. Students who need assistance with online learning can go to help.felician.edu or call the Felician Helpdesk at 201-554-0240.

Resident students will have the option of remaining on campus or going home. For those students who choose to stay on campus to continue their online learning, the dining hall and libraries will remain open. Amended guidelines for residence life will be in effect.

The safety of the Felician Community and the continuity of learning for our students are our highest priority. Our Felician Franciscan Values continue to guide us during this difficult time, and our commitment to our academic mission remains strong.

On behalf of the Administration, Faculty, and Staff we appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation. We will continue to be thoughtful and thorough in our response and keep the community informed of our decisions. Remember to visit the University website often for updates, information on Athletics events, and other schedule changes.

Finally, please join us in praying for those whose health and lives are impacted by this virus.

In Peace and Health,

Anne M. Prisco, Ph.D.
President
