Felician University and the NJ Department of Labor Host Successful Life Sciences and Healthcare Career Fair
RUTHERFORD, NJ – Felician University proudly hosted the highly anticipated Life Sciences and Healthcare Career Fair on Wednesday, April 10 on the university’s Rutherford campus. The event was a great success, drawing in hundreds of job seekers excited to explore career opportunities offered by the nearly 60 leading employers who participated in the fair. The university partnered with the NJ Department of Labor for the event.
Job seekers had the opportunity to explore a wide range of potential career paths and opportunities available within the life sciences and healthcare sectors. Representatives from renowned organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, Hackensack Meridian, Bristol Myers Squibb, and many more were present. The career fair, in line with the university’s commitment to empower students and professionals, provided a platform for direct engagement with the life sciences and healthcare industries. This included one-on-one conversations, networking opportunities, and the chance to learn about the latest industry trends and job requirements.
The career fair also offered three workshops designed to enhance professional development. These workshops focused on key skills such as effective interviewing techniques, transitioning into a career in healthcare, and building a strong professional network. Additionally, job seekers had the opportunity to take a professional headshot for their portfolios and social media platforms like LinkedIn, enhancing their online presence and job prospects.
