Nursing Professor Receives National Award from American Nurses Association

RUTHERFORD, NJ – Felician University is proud to announce that the American Nurses Association (ANA) named Dr. Mary Jane Genuino, Assistant Professor in Felician’s School of Nursing and Health Sciences, as the recipient of the Foundations of Nursing Practice Award. The award, a testament to Dr. Genuino’s exceptional contributions to nursing, will be formally presented at a reception on Thursday, June 27, in Washington, DC.

The Foundations of Nursing Practice Award was created to recognize an individual registered nurse for achieving outstanding accomplishments in nursing research, nursing education, or nursing practice. All recipients of the ANA 2024 National Awards recognize extraordinary nurses and champions for their vital contributions to nursing and health care.
