Felician University and Middlesex County College Sign Dual Enrollment Agreement
The presidents of Felician University and Middlesex County College (MCC) recently signed a Dual Admission Agreement that will make it possible for MCC nursing graduates to earn their bachelor’s degree in nursing onsite at the community college.
Felician University’s Dr. Anne Prisco and MCC’s Dr. Joann La Perla-Morales officially authorized the agreement that allows MCC nursing students to gain automatic admission to Felician University’s Fast-Track Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) Program. Felician’s Fast-Track RN-BSN is a 15-month accelerated program.
After earning an Associate of Science degree (AS) from MCC and successfully passing the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX), MCC nursing students will be able to continue their studies and conveniently earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) on MCC’s campus. Theoretically, Felician’s Fast Track program allows MCC’s incoming freshman nursing students to complete a BSN on the MCC campus in less than four years.
“This important new partnership will allow MCC students to earn a baccalaureate degree in nursing on their home campus in Edison, while enabling Felician to enroll students from the Middlesex County area that might not have considered our University as an option due to distance,” said Felician President, Dr. Anne Prisco.
