RUTHERFORD, NJ – FEBRUARY 2024 – The Felician University School of Nursing continues its commitment to educating highly skilled compassionate workforce ready nurses and is proud to announce that the Nursing Class of 2023 achieved a 93.75% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). This success can be directly attributed to the School of Nursing’s rigorous and comprehensive curriculum taught by dedicated faculty in the baccalaureate and master’s degree programs.

Dr. Christine C. Mihal, Dean for the School of Nursing, stated, “I am so proud of our students, but also the BSN faculty whose dedication and tireless work have resulted in these high scores on the licensing examination.”

The NCLEX-RN is designed to test the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for the safe and effective practice of nursing on an entry level. Passing the exam is required for admission into the nursing profession. The pass rates of graduates on the NCLEX exam are often considered the most important measure of a nursing program’s quality and effectiveness.
