The Royal Academy of Science International Trust (RASIT) granted a full tuition scholarship to Lara Nicodeme on Wednesday, April 21st. in the Theresa Inserra Grand Reception Room at Iviswold Castle on Felician University’s Rutherford Campus.
Ms. Nicodeme, a senior at New Milford High School, will join Felician University in the Fall of 2021 to study Biology with the intention to continue graduate studies in the field of medicine.
Felician President James W. Crawford, III congratulated Ms. Nicodeme and her family saying, “It is a gift to participate and work at a university, but it is a blessing to be in this faith-based institution of Felician University where we get to see and help shape the direction of lives and stand back and be in awe of all they will achieve.”
In accepting the scholarship, Ms. Nicodeme said, “I want to thank my little brother for inspiring me to be his role model, my Mom for showing me that women can do anything, my older brother for showing me that even though things get hard you can get right back up and try again, and I thank my Dad for teaching me that no matter what you set your mind to you can accomplish anything.”
