School of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Lecture Series Announced

Broadway Bill LeeRUTHERFORD, NJ – In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Felician University proudly announces Broadway Bill Lee will be this semester’s keynote speaker for the School of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Lecture Series.

On Monday, October 24 at 5pm in Ray’s Place in the Education Commons building on the Rutherford campus, Broadway Bill Lee, of CBS FM 101.1 and a radio disc jockey for over 50 years, will present Career Reflections and the Role of Service. The event is free and open to the public.

Broadway Bill Lee received the Billboard Radio Magazine Award for Radio Personality of the Year, Personality of the Year from Radio & Records Magazine, and two New York Metro Air Awards for Best Afternoon Drive Show. He is categorized as an all-time great and is known as the “master of brevity.”

The mission of the Felician University School of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Lecture Series is to showcase high-impact topics in the Humanities and the Sciences. The series presents scholars and thought leaders whose work provides innovative perspectives and explores current societal trends, social justice, and ethical issues with the overall goal to engage, understand, and highlight various ideas aimed at creating a more just, equitable, and compassionate society. The presentations are open to students, faculty, interested members of the university community, and the public.
