Felician University Celebrates 2022 Commencement
East Rutherford, NJ – On Saturday, May 21st, Felician University celebrated the 2022 Commencement in a very big way, with over 3,000 attendees at The Rink at American Dream – a first for the University.
The commencement exercises conferred degrees for over 600 graduates from the School of Arts and Sciences, Business and Information Sciences, Education, and Nursing. The degrees included Doctorates in Business Administration, Counseling Psychology and Nursing Practice, as well as Bachelors and Masters reflecting over 60 majors and graduate programs across the University.
Honorary degree recipient, Jeh Charles Johnson, former Secretary of Homeland Security under the Obama Administration, served as Commencement speaker. During his impassioned speech, Secretary Johnson told Felician students, “You are smarter than you think, stronger than you know. Dig down a little deeper. Stay up a little later. Work a little harder, and you will reach new heights that you did not think were possible for yourself.”
Reflecting on the extraordinary ceremony, Felician University President James W. Crawford, III remarked, “There was a remarkable energy throughout the event. Felician University is on a journey to expand the boundaries around us to become the institution that I know all of you desire and our students, past, present, and future, deserve.”
