Felician University Announces Presentation by Golden Artist Colors CEO

Rutherford, NJ – April 4, 2019 – Felician University announces Mark Golden as the speaker for the “How the World of Art Can Help Change the Way We Perceive the World Around Us” presentation. The presentation, hosted by the Felician University School of Business and Information Sciences, will take place on April 10 at the Alden Trust Conference Room in Sammartino Hall on the Rutherford Campus.

Mark Golden is the CEO and co-founder of Golden Artist Colors, a US manufacturer of artist quality materials, including colors and mediums for painting in acrylics, oils and watercolor. With two locations in rural Central New York, the company’s over 200 employee owners are committed to producing innovative materials that assure the visual legacy of artists around the world.

Stephen Sergi, a professor at Felician’s School of Business and Information Sciences, said: “We are all subject to myopia; the important thing is to recognize when we are too narrowly focused. If you possess the self-awareness to recognize this limitation, art provides a paradigm change that expands cognitive perspectives and, in turn, improves the ability to identify ideas previously hidden.”
