Felician Alum Named Starter for Frontier League All-Star Game: Celebrating Athletic Excellence!
Rutherford, NJ – Felician University Alumnus Brennan Price ’17, a professional baseball player with the independent Florence (Ky.) Y’Alls, has been selected to the starting lineup for the 2022 Frontier League All-Star Game, the Frontier League announced on Monday. Price is an All-Star as a professional for the first time.
Price, a native of Middlesex, NJ, was chosen as the West Division starter at first base. In 47 games, he had 10 home runs and 41 runs scored. He ranks eighth in the 16-team league in RBI.
Price played for Felician from 2014-17 and is the Golden Falcons’ all-time RBI leader with 156. He was a member of the Golden Falcons’ Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference championship teams, in 2014 and 2016. Price was a four-time All-CACC and three-time All-East Region honoree.
Also selected as a Frontier League All-Star was right-handed pitcher Dwayne Marshall, who played for Felician as a graduate student in 2021. Marshall will represent the Sussex County Miners on the East Division team. He has 11 starts with 56 strikeouts and 24 walks in 68 2/3 innings.
The 2022 Frontier League All-Star Game will be hosted by the Washington (Pa.) Wild Things at Wild Things Park on Wednesday, July 20 at 7:05pm.
