Dr. Elizabeth Van Dyk Appointed to Christian Health Board of Trustees
In May 2021, Dr. Elizabeth Van Dyk DNP, RN, FNP-C, ANP-C, ANP-BC, Associate Dean for the School of Nursing Graduate Program, was nominated and appointed to the Christian Health Board of Trustees. Dr. Van Dyk is a practicing Nurse Practitioner who received her doctoral degree from Fairleigh Dickerson University, her master’s degree for New York University, and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from William Paterson University. She has been a faculty member at Felician University since 2016. Her area of expertise is in diabetes and population health nursing.
Christian Health is a non-profit organization located in Wyckoff, New Jersey, that provides quality health care dedicated to senior life. Christian Health was founded in 1911 with the mission to provide wholistic individual care to older adults founded on Christian Values. They provide living opportunities for older adults that range from independent living to skilled nursing services. In addition, Christian Health has mental health facilities that provide counseling and mental health services to seniors. Their facilities are located in northern New Jersey with their main campus located on 78 acres overlooking the Ramapo Mountains.
Dr. Van Dyk is honored to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees of Christian Health. She is continuing in a family tradition of being a member of the organization. Both her parents worked there along with other family members who serve on the Board of Trustees, as well. Dr. Van Dyk is dedicated to the care of older adults and is proud to be able to advance the needs of older adults within the north Jersey community.
