“Average Student,” Extraordinary Graduate
From Average Student to Extraordinary Graduate: The Success Story of Felician University!
20 years ago, Greg Espinosa graduated from Harrison High School. He called his high school years unremarkable.
“I was simply an average student, just trying to get by.” He felt that a college degree was not in his future, but his life’s journey eventually found him at Felician University, “At Felician we felt like members, not numbers, I sat in class next to people from all walks of life, younger and older, parents, athletes, people with full time jobs, and even nuns!” Greg became more than an average student at Felician and on Saturday September 12th, he addressed Students, Parents and Faculty as the 2020 Salutatorian.
Today Greg already has a job as a Special Education teacher in the Parsippany/Troy Hills school system, having officially graduated last May. He credits Felician for helping him find his way. “What I think we learned most at Felician is that we are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for.”
