American Marketing Association Club Launches
Felician University’s American Marketing Association Club Launches!
Felician University, School of Business & Information Sciences introduced its new American Marketing Association (AMA) Club this Spring. Undergraduate and graduate students in business and nonbusiness related majors attended the virtual meeting along with Felician alumni. Meetings are held every other Friday from 1-2pm and will start up in the Fall semester.
According to the club’s moderator, Dennis Huzey, Assistant Professor of Marketing and Management of Felician University’s School of Business and Information Sciences, there was a great turnout for the first meeting that included a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students from majors and minors both within and outside of the business program. Professor Huzey said, “Thanks to the enthusiasm shown by the students I am sure we will do great things in preparing students for their business, marketing, and communications careers.”
The AMA Club engages in activities in a strategic alliance with the N.J. AMA, the AMA National Organization, and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). AMA Club members who attend meetings and events sponsored by N.J. AMA and the PRSA will have the chance to meet and interact with real-world professionals who look for students interested in starting careers at their companies. Networking and internship opportunities will also be available, along with access to posted positions.
Professor Huzey extends an invitation to all students to launch your career through membership in the new AMA Club. Join and grow in confidence, capabilities as we collectively work to grow and develop our skills. For further information contact Professor Huzey at HuzeyD@felician.edu.
