Alumna Gets Leadership Position at Christian Health Care Center

Patricia Drabik, DNP, RN, NEA-BCFelician University Alumna Takes on Leadership Position at Christian Health Care Center!

Christian Health Care Center’s (CHCC) new Vice President/Chief of Nursing Officer, and the Director of Nursing for Heritage Manor and Southgate is Felician alumna and associate professor, Patricia Drabik, DNP, RN, NEA-BC.

Dr. Drabik previously served as the COVID-19 Vaccine Director and Operations Director for the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) which was the largest public health initiative in NJ history. She oversaw the creation of the infrastructure and daily operations involving over 100 NJDOH employees, federal partners, external consultants, government agencies, medical groups, and all acute care hospitals in New Jersey. During the peak of the pandemic, Dr. Drabik was the Chief Nursing Officer and Site Administrator of the Field Medical Station which operated from the NJ Convention Center.

Before her career at NJDOH, Dr. Drabik held many positions including Site Director, Patient Care Services at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Nurse Administrative Director of Patient Care Services – Finances and Resources at St. Barnabas Medical Center and many nurse leadership roles at St. Barnabas’s Critical Care and Burn Intensive Care Service.
Dr. Drabik received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barry University, her Master of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice – Executive Concentration from Felician University where she received an Academic Distinction Award. She also holds multiple certifications and distinctions such as the NEA-BC Advanced Nurse Executive Board Certification.
