Adult Gerontology Graduates

Congratulations to Felician University’s Adult Geriatrics Graduates!

Felician University School of Nursing is pleased to recognize our 2021 graduates from the Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program.  The following students successfully completed the rigorous requirements needed to graduate from this prestigious program: Susanne Capozzi, Lucia Cuttone, Gemelia Jeffrey, Blazej Kossakowski, Lizeth Ordonez, Alexandra Richardson, Melissa Rosario, Jihane Saade, and Kavita Talati.

These graduates are registered nurses who have completed advanced training program in the care of older adults.  This degree will prepare them to care for clients in a variety of healthcare settings.  The focus of this program at Felician University is to prepare nurses to work in adult gerontology primary care.   In this area, nurses can diagnosis and treat illnesses along with providing preventative care and counseling.  The goal is to have older adults maintain a healthy lifestyle along with managing any chronic illnesses that they may have.  This is a three-year, 37 credit program that includes 505 clinical hours that the students must satisfy in order to successfully meet the program requirements.  Upon completion of the program, the graduates must pass a specialized examination to be certified for practice. These graduates are stellar examples of our Felician values in practice in the field of nursing and elder care.
