2nd Annual Veterans Day Ruck March Announced
The Felician University Veterans Advisory Council is pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Veterans Day Ruck March from the Lodi campus to the Rutherford campus will take place on Friday, November 11 at 9:30am. The march will begin in front of Obal Hall on the Lodi campus and is open to the public.
The Veterans Advisory Council was created to help veteran students achieve their educational goals, make career transitions, and connect with other veterans and military students. Chair, Jason Fermin ’17, a detective with the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office states, “The VAC actively mentors veteran students and veteran alumni providing personalized and caring support. We began the Ruck March last year to help fund individual veteran student needs. All proceeds go to our veteran students.”
For the 11th consecutive year, Felician University has achieved a Military Friendly® school designation and attained Gold Award status this year. Felician is committed to serving veteran students by offering veteran tutorial and career development services, special military grants and scholarships, and actively participating in the Yellow Ribbon military educational benefit program.
