2023 Felician Autism Collaboration in Teaching (FACT) Conference
RUTHERFORD, NJ – Felician University is proud to announce the third bi-annual Felician Autism Collaboration in Teaching (FACT) Conference on March 24, 2023. The all-day conference includes three keynote speakers – Paul Aronsohn, New Jersey Ombudsman for Individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities; Dr. Nasiah Cirincione-Ulezi, Founder and CEO of ULEZI, LLC, an international organization committed to serving, supporting and empowering individuals through education, information, and advocacy, and Dr. Peter Gerhardt, the Executive Director of EPIC Programs.
“Drawing attendees from New Jersey and across the nation, the FACT Conference is no longer a hidden gem among autism conferences in New Jersey,” explained Dr. Katharine Croce, Behavioral Analyst and Assistant Professor in the School of Education. “At Felician we have an amazing group of dedicated, and passionate faculty who created an informative and interactive conference that engages the most talented and approachable speakers in the field, who share their cutting-edge strategies and evoke in-depth discussions with our attendees.”
Teachers, students, professionals, and service providers will hear presentations from leading ASD experts on the most current evidence-based strategies, practical interventions, and effective, data-proven educational methods for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Registration is available for both in-person and virtual attendance.
The FACT Conference is presented by Felician University’s School of Education and the International Center for Autism and disabilities Research in Education (I-CAdRE) and is co-chaired by Dr. John Burke, Executive Director of I-CAdRE, and Dr. Katharine Croce and Dr. Theoni Mantzoros, Assistant Professors.
