Felician University Undergraduate Research Conference
Future Frontiers: Undergraduate Research For a Changing World
This theme emphasizes the critical importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing the complex challenges of a rapidly evolving global landscape. In addressing critical global challenges such as climate change, technological progress, social justice, and global health, the conference seeks to showcase innovative research that offers ethical, sustainable, and transformative solutions for a better future.
Within this academic forum, students will have the opportunity to present their research, engage with peers and faculty mentors, and build professional networks, gaining valuable experience in academic discussion and presentation. Submissions will be evaluated for their originality and potential to advance interdisciplinary collaboration. Exceptional contributions will be recognized and celebrated, highlighting the creativity and scholarly achievements of undergraduate researchers.
We welcome submissions from a wide range of fields, including the Arts, Humanities, STEM, Business, and Behavioral Sciences. Join us in shaping a more informed, equitable, and sustainable future through the transformative power of undergraduate research.
Objective
The main objective of this conference is to highlight projects dedicated to understanding, alleviating, or proposing solutions for global challenges affecting societies, economies, and the environment. We are actively seeking proposals that demonstrate interdisciplinary collaboration, creativity, and the potential for real-world impact. Submissions will undergo evaluation by the URC committee, which is intentionally promoting an interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary approach for this call.
The annual URC provides an excellent platform for students to connect with like-minded peers and faculty mentors from local universities and colleges in the New Jersey area who are involved in similar fields. It serves as a forum for students to gain insights into scholarship across diverse disciplines, enhance their presentation skills, and cultivate meaningful connections. We enthusiastically welcome student paper and poster submissions across all fields, and noteworthy presentations will be honored and acknowledged at the conference.
Conference Theme:
The 2025 Undergraduate Research Conference, titled “Future Frontiers: Undergraduate Research for a Changing World,” underscores the essential role of interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in addressing global challenges. This year’s theme centers on research exploring social justice and ethical solutions to pressing issues, including climate change, public health, technological ethics, economic inequality, the impacts of globalization, and sustainable strategies for fostering a more equitable and resilient society.
Proposals from all disciplines—Arts, Humanities, STEM, Business, Behavioral Sciences, and Education—that promote dialogue and collaboration across diverse fields are encouraged for submission.
The conference will be held on Saturday, April 26th, 2025.
