Felician University is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the new Wellness and Recreation Center (WaRC)! The WaRC has now become a vibrant addition to the Rutherford campus, offering a state-of-the-art fitness center, modern locker rooms, a stunning studio for dance, yoga, and meditation, and more for the entire Felician University Community. Whether you’re a student, a student-athlete, or a faculty or staff member, the WaRC is ready to enhance your well-being.
As this exciting facility has reached its completion, we will continue to provide the Felician University Community with relevant updates and notices to ensure everyone’s ongoing safety and enjoyment of the new amenities.

WaRC Interior
The WaRC’s interior welcomes visitors through a beautiful, open lobby complete with lots of natural lighting and branded Felician flooring. The interior also includes a comfortable student lounge; a fitness center with top-of-the-line equipment; and a yoga, dance, and meditation studio free to be enjoyed by all students, faculty, and staff. The athletic filming room can be used for our NCAA Division II athletic teams to review films, while the men’s and women’s locker rooms provide clean, private settings with a touch of Felician branding. Visitors can also pass through the impressive Hall of Fame and become familiar with Felician’s successful teams and athletes throughout the years.

The WaRC’s exterior features tall columns and a lattice that give it a clean, modernized appearance. The landscaping will accentuate the WaRC with beautiful bushes, flowers, and trees, all of which begin to bloom in early spring and infuse life into the heart of the campus. A large seating area outside the WaRC will allow Felician University Community members to relax, work, and socialize in a fresh, outdoor environment. New walkways have been designed to help the flow of foot traffic and accentuate our beautiful green space. This intelligent design ensures safety while providing an attractive landscape for students, faculty, staff, and visitors at Felician.
