Biography
I am an experienced IT professional specializing in cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and digital forensics. With a Master’s in Cybersecurity and extensive expertise in risk remediation, penetration testing, and business continuity planning, I have played a pivotal role in leading cybersecurity initiatives across both academic and corporate environments.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Jersey City State College now New Jersey City University. My Wall Street experience span 20 years at two companies, Bloomberg LP and Bear Stearns & Co. I have held positions as programmer analyst and project manager. After spending several years as an application programmer at various Wall Street companies, I was inspired to transition into the cybersecurity field after witnessing a string of high-profile corporate breaches. Recognizing the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals, I decided to further my education, earning a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from Saint Peter’s University in 2018.
Upon completing my degree, I embraced an educational role as a Cybersecurity instructor at Saint Peter’s University. In 2024, I expanded my teaching reach by joining Felician University as a Cybersecurity Instructor, where I teach both undergraduate and graduate students.
In addition to my academic roles, I founded my own cybersecurity consultancy, Cyber Security Aces, where I work closely with companies and universities to strengthen their security posture. Through Cyber Security Aces, I consulted organizations on cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and incident response strategies, ensuring they are well-prepared to face the dynamic threats of the digital landscape.
Beyond education and consulting, I have cultivated a broad technical skillset, which includes proficiency in various security tools, programming languages, and compliance frameworks. This expertise enables me to provide strategic leadership in the cybersecurity field, serving both as an instructor and consultant. In these roles, I have trained professionals and students in cybersecurity best practices, ensuring that both individuals and organizations are equipped to navigate the ever-evolving challenges of the digital age.
