StraighterLine
StraighterLine is a U.S. educational company that offers low-price, online higher education courses that are equivalent to general courses required for a bachelor’s degree. The American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service has evaluated and recommended college credit for StraighterLine courses.
Students also take their online courses to complete prerequisites, electives, or lower-division foundation courses. The courses are all self-paced, meaning you can start the course whenever you would like and complete it within a time frame that fits your schedule.
On average, it takes a student to complete one online college course. However, it all depends on the student’s individual situation, their college course experience, skills, familiarity with the subject matter, and the amount of time they have to allocate to the course.

Online Consortium of Independent Colleges and Universities (OCICU)
The Online Consortium of Independent Colleges and Universities (OCICU) offers students the opportunity to take courses online through other universities that may not be offered through Felician University at a specific point in time.
All Felician undergraduate and/or graduate students may complete these courses to assist in fulfilling their Felician University degree requirements.
Prior to submitting a request, students are required to meet and discuss with their advisor their course requirements for the upcoming semester and exhaust all possible options for taking their courses at Felician, prior to exploring OCICU courses.
OCICU Registration Request forms are housed in AssureSign and must be submitted through that platform. Faculty/Staff that have not received AssureSign training will not be able to access the form.
The overall turnaround time for OCICU registration requests is 2 weeks prior to the course start date. This allows the partner institution an equitable amount of time to receive and process the request. Any late requests will NOT be processed.
