Felician University, the Franciscan University of New Jersey is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, detailed-oriented and student-focused financial support professional to serve as Associate Director of Student Financial Service Operations. Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid, the Associate Director provides management, administration, and strategic oversight of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs, as well as student accounts, at Felician University. S/he co-manages system setup, staff training, systems integration, troubleshooting, and reporting within the University’s information systems, with a focus on continuous innovation and the enhancement of student financial services processes.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree, BA/BS, required.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience in higher education financial aid administration, proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to set goals and objectives to effectively oversee Student Financial Services operations and systems, strong program analysis and evaluation skills, with the ability to provide insightful findings and actionable recommendations, demonstrated functional and technical knowledge required to perform at a high level in the role, experience with computerized student financial services systems; Colleague experience preferred. Excellent analytical, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, demonstrating professionalism, flexibility, sensitivity, and a collaborative spirit, proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines; must be detail-oriented and adaptable to changing needs, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, competency in delivering presentations to both small and large groups, strong organizational and time-management skills, commitment to and ability to support the Felician Franciscan mission and core values of the University.
