Program Analyst – Information Systems

Felician University is presently seeking a dynamic, detailed and service-oriented information technology specialist to serve as Program Analyst for the Office of Information Systems.  Reporting to the Associate Director of Information Systems, the Program Analyst supports the senior staff with task related to design, development, integration, and maintenance software and reporting. This role works closely with the operation departments to understand business needs, translate requirements into solutions and ensure the reliability and effectiveness of enterprise systems such as the student information systems (SIS), ERP platforms, and related applications, that support student, financial, and academic operations.

Required Education:

BS in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science or equivalent required; Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Higher Education environment.
  • Functional knowledge in Ellucian Colleague, MS SQL/Server, and MS T-SQL.
  •  Preferred experience with Informer, Java/JavaScript, MS Office, and other methods as needed to create reports for campus end users.
  • Knowledge of APIs for assistance in implementation of new software and solutions.
  • Requirements gathering and business analysis skills with an understanding of higher-education administrative processes.
  • Data governance and security awareness
  • High degree of personal motivation, self-management, and detail orientation.
  • Diverse organizational, analytical, and technical skills in report writing, systems integration, development, and maintenance.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within and across departments.
  • Well-developed critical thinking skills, ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with technical staff and customers across departments.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Salary Range $65,000 – $76,000
