Felician University, the Franciscan University of New Jersey, seeks an academically qualified specialist to serve as Assistant/Associate Professor of Mathematics in the School of Arts and Sciences for the 2025-2026 academic year. Candidates should have experience teaching in a traditional and online environment and must be willing to pursue Felician online certification. S/he must possess comprehensive mathematical expertise to teach across the complete spectrum of undergraduate mathematics courses, from developmental and foundational courses through advanced upper-level offerings required for the bachelor’s degree in mathematics. S/he will serve students at all levels of mathematical preparation utilizing exceptional communication skills to make complex mathematical concepts accessible and engaging for diverse learners.

Earned doctoral degree in Mathematics or related field such as Mathematics Education or Applied Mathematics
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise across the full spectrum of undergraduate mathematics curriculum from developmental through advanced coursework.
- Minimum of two years teaching experience in mathematics at the college level.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated skill in working with students of diverse academic backgrounds and learning styles.
- Proficiency with mathematical software, learning management systems, and educational technology tools.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning preferences and academic preparation levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
