Junior Varsity Men’s Soccer Coach and Athletics Coordinator

Felician University is presently offering an exciting opportunity for an energetic and goal-oriented individual with coaching experience in collegiate men’s soccer to serve as the Junior Varsity Men’s Soccer Coach and Athletics Coordinator. Reporting to the Assistant Director of External Operations, the Junior Varsity Men’s Soccer Coach  and Athletic Coordinator is responsible for the training, direction and supervision of the student athletes participating in the Junior Varsity Men’s Soccer Program, as well as the execution of the operational aspects of the program. S/he supports the Assistant Director of Athletics – Facilities & Operations on the day-to-day management of all aspects for the Department of Athletics, including but not limited to: travel, lodging, and meal needs as well as the coordination of departmental purchases.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Master’s degree preferred

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in facilities or equipment management, preferably in an institutions of higher education.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor; ability and willingness to serve as a role model for student athletes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Well-developed organizational skills, detail-oriented.
  • Excellent physical condition, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
  • Ability and willingness to support and promote the Franciscan Felician mission and values of the University.
