Felician University is presently seeking a qualified educator with experience and training in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorders for a new faculty position beginning in Fall 2020. The position is a 12-month, non-tenure track appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor depending on experience. The primary focus of this position is teaching courses in our undergraduate and graduate VCS approved program, providing supervision in practicum placements and student advising. S/he will play an active role in the newly formed International Center for Autism and Disabilities Research in Education by working closely with the Executive Director in developing and participating in research initiatives and preparing contracts and grants.

Master’s degree required; doctoral degree preferred; valid BCBA certification required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching and providing supervision in practicum and/or field placements; demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the policies and procedures for program development and delivery as required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and Association of behavior Analysts International organizations; extensive experience and knowledge of the Application of Applied Behavior Analysis in educational and community based settings for children, youth and young adults with ASD and other developmental disorders; demonstrated experience in communication and fostering values consistent with the Felician University mission, vision and core values; proven experience with office technology and assessment software applications; well-developed organizational skills; proven ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities; superior written and verbal communications skills; demonstrated leadership skills; proven experience in organizing meetings and events with a particular emphasis on recruitment and orientation of students, developing community partnerships, and collaborating with other faculty and staff.
