Assistant Professor, Applied Behavior Analysis

Felician University is presently offering an exciting opportunity for an academically qualified, full-time faculty with expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis. The new faculty will join an energetic online and on-campus community with dedicated School of Education faculty whose excellence is reflected in its Franciscan mission, diversity, and student success. The Assistant Professor will fulfill all responsibilities of a full-time faculty member in the areas of Teaching Effectiveness, Scholarship, and Service as outlined in the Felician University Faculty Handbook. The faculty member will be expected to teach 4 virtual courses per semester (fall/spring), have an active research agenda, conduct student advisement, mentor student research projects, and support program development.

Required Education:

Doctoral degree in behavior analysis, education, psychology or closely related field is required. Candidates must possess a BCBA or BCBA-D certification for this position.

Qualifications:

BCBA/BCBA-D certification is required; 3+ years experience teaching is preferred; history of providing supervision to individuals in practicum or field placement in area of specialization; classified in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board; ability to support program development and delivery as required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and the Association of Behavior Analysis International; proven extensive experience and knowledge of the application of applied behavior analysis in education and community-based settings for various populations; superior written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated leadership skills; willingness and ability to support the Felician Franciscan mission and core values of the university.
