The School of Education of Felician University is presently offering an exciting opportunity for an academically qualified, full-time Associate Dean of Students, Accreditation, and Compliance to join an energetic on campus and online community and dedicated School of Education team whose excellence is reflected in its Franciscan mission, diversity and student success in the preparation of education professionals. The Associate Dean of Students, Accreditation, and Compliance provides leadership and oversight of the School of Education’s student services, accreditation processes, and compliance with state, federal, and institutional regulations. This role ensures that the academic environment supports the needs of students while maintaining rigorous standards of educational excellence and institutional accountability. The Associate Dean works closely with faculty, staff, and administrative leadership to advance the mission of the School of Education and Felician University. The Associate Dean holds the rank of Assistant Professor and will fulfill all responsibilities of a full-time faculty member in the areas of Teaching Effectiveness, Scholarship, and Service as outlined in the Felician University Faculty Handbook. The Associate Dean teaches 2 courses per semester (fall/spring) where graduate courses will be taught in educational and organizational leadership.

Required Education:
Doctoral degree (Ph.D./Ed.D.) in higher education, educational leadership, organizational
leadership, or a related field
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in higher education administration and working on accreditation and assessment; minimum of 3 years of college/university teaching experience in educational and organizational leadership, which may include statistics, research methods, program
evaluation, etc.; significant experience in higher education administration, with a strong understanding
of accreditation processes and compliance issues; knowledge of relevant accrediting agencies and regulations (e.g., AAQEP, NJDOE, etc.); proven ability to manage complex projects and work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders; strong written, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; experience in working with faculty, staff, and students to foster a positive and
supportive academic environment; willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and core
values of the University.
