Assistant Director of Enrollment Management Services

Felician University is presently seeking an innovative, highly motivated, flexible and goal-oriented professional to serve as Assistant Director of Enrollment Management Services.  Reporting to the Director of Transfer and Adult Enrollment, the Assistant Director is responsible for collaborating in the planning and implementation of recruitment strategies and activities designed to increase enrollment of transfer students in conjunction with the University’s partnership with Bergen Community College.  S/he serves as the admissions officer and initial financial aid and academic advisor to students transferring from Berger Community College in traditional undergraduate or adult undergraduate programs.

Required Education:

BA/BS degree required; Master’s degree in related field preferred

Qualifications:

2-3 years’ in higher education or enrollment/admissions/study abroad advising experience; superior written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated problem-solving skills; well-developed presentation skills; well-developed organizational and time-management skills; highly advanced interpersonal skills, sensitivity to and ability to engage effectively with and direct a culturally and religiously diverse student population; demonstrated ability to work autonomously with multiple priorities and deadlines; superior advising and counseling skills, with a comprehensive knowledge of academic programs; availability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed; demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement when interacting with students, staff, faculty and other internal and external stakeholders;  knowledge of computer databases and information systems; familiarity with social networking venues; willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and values of the University. Experience with Ellucian/Colleague, CRM preferred; willingness and ability to travel and recruit in areas outside of assigned geographical area as needed; willingness and ability to support and promote he Felician Franciscan mission and core values of the University.
