Curriculum

The curriculum in this program is designed to give you eligibility to earn industry certifications, including the Health Education Specialist certification by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, the Basic Life Support Certification (First Aid and CPR) by the American Heart Association, and more.

In addition to health, you’ll also learn the communication, leadership, and analytical skills characteristic of the School of Nursing students. This program gives you the prerequisites for various graduate programs, including master’s degrees in Health Administration, Public Health, Exercise Science, Nutrition, and more.


Careers in Health Wellness and Promotion

The career paths for a bachelor’s in Health Promotion and Wellness are diverse. You can work with individuals as a health coach and even go on to become a certified personal trainer (CPT) or dietician. You could also work with organizations dedicated to community health and work in positions such Wellness Center Manager, Director of Health Promotion, and Community Health Educator.

Admissions Requirements

Please carefully review the following admissions requirements:

  • A completed application for admission with a non-refundable $30.00 application fee.
  • Proof of high school graduation, transcripts, GED/IGCSE or copy of HS diploma (official copies may be required).
  • Felician is test optional and SAT or ACT scores are not required for entry, except for nursing.
  • A personal statement and/or interview may be required. It is strongly suggested that students submit a personal statement and any letters of recommendation with their application.
